The beta version of AI Manager is now available for voluntary testing. Users interested in trying the beta can download it from AIG’s GitHub repository. For those who already have an OCI (One Click Installer) setup for MSFS 2020, the migration process to MSFS 2024 is straightforward but requires a few steps:
Start AIM in 2020 Mode and close after it has fully loaded
Verify that AIM has renamed the OCI package in MSFS2020 to “aig-aitraffic-oci”
Copy the directory to the MSFS2024 Community folder (DO NOT COPY any other AIG directory!)
Start AIM in 2024 Mode
Open the Settings
Navigate to the OCI-Settings
Click “Reset SimObjects” (This will take several minutes!)
Restart AIM
Run a Model Update when asked
The beta will primarily focus on ensuring that AI traffic models and liveries work seamlessly within MSFS 2024’s enhanced graphics and systems, and that rReal-world flight plans can still be injected into the simulator accurately.
