在X-Plane中探索鲁尔区的中心——多特蒙德XP的景色是在飞行模拟器中对多特蒙德市的完全再现。
除了多特蒙德的整个城区外，多特蒙德机场（EDLW）以及亨森奥弗迪克机场（EO08）及其周边地区也被创建并包含在该风景包中。北医院中心的直升机停机坪完成了风景。机场和城市都是使用照片逼真的地面纹理建模的，除了手工校正的autogen外，还提供了高度详细的建筑和地标。出色的灯光和夜间效果以及动画对象使风景的外观黯然失色。
从多特蒙德机场加入商业航空，或从附近的亨森奥菲尔迪克机场享受VFR航班。直升机飞行员可以在医院的直升机停机坪执行救援任务。
